Melrose Abbey

Hiya! We went to Melrose Abbey on Friday. In case you aren't familiar with what it is and why it is important here is a link to the website for it so I don't have to write a book explaining.

Even for those who don't know the history behind it, they can appreciate it because the Abbey is amazing and beautiful! It was one of the places that I haaaad to see, so it was really cool that the program provided an amazing (and free) trip to Melrose Abbey!

The stone outlines on the ground are the remains of the walls of the Abbey.

The pathway is very bumpy. This whole area used to be a covered porch/walkway to the front entrance.
