The weather in the area of Scotland I'm in is amazing. It reminds me a lot of Seattle and Portland. When you get up in the morning it might be cloudy or misty or it might be bright and sunny but it is usually cool. The temperature doesn't fluctuate very much. Today's high is 59 and low is 51.
That I expected but what is very odd is the way the weather comes and goes. The clouds will move in and block out the sun, it will start to rain, become very windy, so much so that it seems that you are in some beautiful Autumn storm, and then in 10-15 mins it is all over, the sun is back and the birds are out frolicking around.
You can be standing at the front door looking at the rain coming down, turn around and go back to your room to get your rain gear, and the rain is gone and the sun is shinning. I love it! Ya just never know what is going to happen. Sometimes it rains but it isn't coming down very hard but the wind is blowing so hard that it seems that it is an awful storm.
